A New Mind

Sometimes you have to dissociate from who you perceive yourself to be, who you think you are. The associations you have with yourself should fall away, the “I am” should be no longer. This will give you clarity on what you want from your life – how you want to be towards others and towards the world, and to your body too. It gives you an extra awareness of the layer beneath all of life’s occurrences.
There is no greater lie you tell yourself than “I am”. You are not ugly because of something someone said or because you think so due to images you’ve seen of people that have been deemed beautiful or un-ugly by society or by your own developed thought processes and concepts. You are simply a being. You are not one thing or the other. You are you. A kind, gentle being that lives. You can dissociate yourself from all situations. Dissociate yourself from the characters you play in different situations around different people. Take your mask off around yourself. And create who you want to be.
